This family is a lucky winner of a blog contest and on Saturday we had their session in gorgeous Trollwood Park in North Fargo. It was a beautiful day for a photoshoot for sure!

Business officially starts in 2 weeks. I’m not ready. I’m pretty sure I won’t be ready. My ‘to-do’ list is longer than my ‘completed’ list. And there are only a certain amount of hours in the day to complete all of these tasks! I need an organizational assistant and I haven’t even gotten going yet! I’m so excited though, and that keeps me going. I’m trying to get through a little bit every day so the list doesn’t seem so daunting. But this weekend was beautiful outside. I walked with Hannah and Ruby a lot. We took some pictures and just enjoyed the spring that has finally arrived in our neck of the woods. I had high hopes of getting a lot completed this weekend but I slacked. But for good measure. I took my body out of winter hibernation and made it move again. It was so nice!

So the updates might be a bit minimal - like that’s anything new really – but I hope to have something here several times a week once things really get moving. I really want to focus on getting the biz aspect all in line. So much to do! Keep an eye out, exciting things are around the corner!

We have a new addition to our family. Ruby, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi, joined our family November 3, 2006. Her arrival has been an anxiously awaited one. We’ve dreamed of having a Corgi for years. In August we decided it was a good time to finally add one to our family. She was born September 11, 2006 and ever since that day we had been rushing time so that we could bring her home. I traveled with a friend to South Dakota to pick her up. We loved her since she was born but we really fell in love as soon as we saw her in person and I held her little self in my arms. The kids have all been thrilled to have a dog in the house. Everyone helps with her care and shares in her fun. She has a great personality and wondeful herding instinct. The kids don’t mind, but the cats sure do! I think it’s funny!
She’s been a great little model and I hope to capture her a lot as she grows and changes and brings so much joy to our family.

I’m taking a little mini-vacation and attending a 3 day AWESOME concert. I have so many awesome photos to share and tell about and some other neat things to share but I just don’t have the time right now and won’t again until the beginning of next week. AND my mouse has staged a mutiny and must now be replaced. It wants to scroll just fine, it just doesn’t want to click. I think it’s all clicked out!
