I thought I would share a few of my favorite pretty pictures from my trip to the arboretum. More can be seen by clicking the Flickr photo in the sidebar.

Yesterday, I spent the day at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with my very best, lifelong friend who was in town for a quick visit. I have never been any place so stunning! We arrived at 8am and it was quiet and peaceful and the air was cool. The smells were amazing and the visual stimulations was enough to last me weeks! I walked for hours, I sat and took in my surroundings. I listened to birds and bees and watched the butterflies, dragonflies and grasshoppers. The waterfalls took me back to a time and place when visiting Colorado. I could listen to the water of the waterfall and the numerous fountains all day. I took a lot of pictures. It will take me a little while before I can post them but I can’t wait to share them. I can’t wait to go back there again. I’d love to go late in the day when the sun is setting and warm, when the shadows are long and interesting. I’d love to live right around the corner and visit frequently. What an amazing day.
