I visited Molly in her home last week to photograph her in all her adorableness! I really love the pink bow in her hair and am a melty-heart for a super cute hat! I’m not sure she was in love with her pink dog pillow just yet, but she’ll love it one of these days – it’s so soft!

I photographed these adorable siblings in Island Park last week. What a fun bunch – they sure kept me moving! But who can resist so many gorgeous brown eyes?

On Wednesday I ventured out to Detroit Lakes, MN to photograph these cuties on the beach. It was a perfect morning, the beach was empty and we enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.

Once again I had the pleasure of photographing this family. I just adore them all. Amazing to think that it was already 2 years ago when I first photographed them and their brand new baby bundle. Lola is now two and while shy at first, she’s a smiley, fun little lady once she gets going!

Things are very busy here at HSP and in my personal life. My apologies for not getting a photo drawing done but I’m already a few days behind and didn’t want to get further behind trying to get yet even more images uploaded. So we drew the name and I typed it out instead.

Also, August will be the last month for the monthly blog contest. I have enjoyed doing these for the past year and have gotten some really great sessions from them. I will be doing some random contests and giveaways from time to time though! Keep a look out!

As I mentioned, things are quite busy here! I am not a large volume photographer and being a mom is my number one priority. As many of us know, August gets crazy with end of summer fun, back to school everything, and gearing up for a change in schedule and routine. For me, add in sports physicals and checkups and swim practice and things go a little crazy. And August happens to be one of my busiest photography months! Seniors are so excited this time of year to get their sessions done and I’m trying to accommodate as many as I can but my dates are quite limited. I limit my shooting days so that I can give the best possible service to my clients. I’m not the photographer that turns things around in a day or two and leaves you guessing at what your images might look like after they’re proofed – I ‘proof’ them before you even see them – no guessing there. I’d love to be able to photograph everyone that wants a session ‘right now’ but I just can’t. Please schedule your sessions in advance to ensure a time that works for you.
