This Is My Journey

July 24, 2006

I’m taking the plunge. I want to do something more than take pictures of my own kids in everyday situations and settings and store them on my computer to share with family and friends, or occasionally print off a few. I want to take pictures of all kinds of people, places, animals, and things. I want to break from my comfort zone and learn and experience more. I have a vision. I know what I want to be doing, it’s the getting there that will take some time, hard work, and a whole lot of focus. Of course, as for any photographer, that is the ultimate goal: focus. So this is my journey. It starts today. Follow along with me as I take each step into being a photographer, starting a business, and capturing those special moments that everyone wants to hold onto forever. It might be a long and bumpy road or it might be like traveling a well known path. There are so many things to do and to consider and to really hammer out. Only time will tell and that time starts right now.

Heidi,

I just got off of work and received and email from Adam. He mentioned your web page and sent along a connection and I thought I would ckeck them out. Personally, I think you photos look great, I really like the realism and emotion displayed, it seems a lot more like you are there witnessing it, which is the whole idea in the first place anyway.

That being said, good luck to you and keep on keeping on.
