I still have a few dates still available for sessions in September and October but I’m sure they will fill soon. All 2010 sessions must take place before October 25th, 2010 so book your family holiday sessions ASAP!   There are a some weekday sessions and a few weekend sessions still open. Please contact me for more information and available dates as soon as possible to ensure your 2010 session.

There seems to be nothing better than a Friday in the summer for so many people. Looking forward to the weekend ahead of sunshine and playtime. This time of year, my weekends are busy – I’m shooting sessions! I look forward to them all the same – it’s time to get my creativity groove on!

I just wanted to share a little note that there are still some time slots available for the Back to School mini sessions so book those up! The first date is just over 2 weeks away and is a perfect time for back to school fun! I will add more dates if these fill up.

Also, I have so many people ask for wheat field images. I love the wheat fields! The problem is, August really is the only good time for these sessions around here. July is too early – well the wheat isn’t as tall as it could be and not as amber and by September, many of the fields are harvested and plowed under. So if these sessions are something you’re after for your senior session or your family session, maybe a beautiful maternity belly or some fun little ones playing around – contact me ASAP to get those scheduled this month.

Today marks my 18th week of pregnancy! We are expecting precious baby #4 in the middle of December! James and I kept this little secret to ourselves for a few months before sharing with friends and family and the kids.  It was a bit tough to keep it all in sometimes but it was nice to hold onto something just for us for a little bit. Everything is going well and the little one is wiggling around just perfectly! We find out if we’re having a boy or girl in 2 weeks! We’re all really excited for that though between the 5 of us, our ‘wish’ list for gender all varies. I really can’t wait to share all about the baby and spend plenty of time snuggling and loving on an adorable little newborn! 5 months to go!

I did take a little break from sessions the past couple of months. Between exhaustion and nausea and keeping up the household no matter what, I just couldn’t do it. But I’m back into the swing of things now and am going to try to book as many sessions as I can handle all before October 21st this fall. This is a couple weeks shorter than my normal end of sessions for the year but as you can imagine, I’m going to need that time to finish sessions and sales and to get ready for a new baby and the holidays. I’ll also be taking the first few months of the year off and will be booking a limited number of sessions each month in 2011 to take care of the little one. Please plan ahead when planning for sessions!

It’s hard not to get a little bit of ‘baby fever’ when being around a pregnant mama. This session was no different. Her belly was just so cute and round and made me miss having one – just a little bit. We lucked out with a wonderfully sunny day, and while cool, we still made it outside for a few shots too. Little Nathan was just too cute! We’ll be looking forward to this little one gracing the HSP blog in another few weeks!

Some of you may remember my friends from the session I did with them last fall. I titled that entry “Down On The Farm”. I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes trying to come up with a fitting title for their current session but I couldn’t come up with anything original. “Down On The Farm” just stuck in my head. Their property is so gorgeous, espeically this time of year – the wheat was perfectly amber, the sky a bright blue, and the greenest of greens all around. It was hot, but the sun felt so cozy. And little Will has turned 2 and is such an adorable little fella! He just makes me smile and laugh. And Will is about to be a big brother! There is so much more to come from this family in the next month [yes, she's due in a month!] so check back again before too long! For now, here is a few images from my time spent with them Saturday afternoon. I can’t wait to finish editing the rest as there is so much cute!

I’ve not been so good at updating the blog. My appologies. I need to change that for sure. But the good news is, I have been busy. I have a few sessions that I’ve done in the past couple ofmonths that need to be shown off. It was so fun to work with a pregnant mama and then the newborn twins, Nick and Josh. [She is my boyfriend's sister which makes those adorable boys almost like my nephews!] Expect to see them often as we plan to do sessions monthly as they grow! I also photographed the newly engaged Megan and Travis in downtown Fargo. Fun times!

I know she felt much bigger than she looked but  I think she looked quite good for being 35 weeks  with twins!
