This is classic Connor face. It makes me laugh because it’s a bit between confused and happy and awkward. But his eyes shine through more than anything else – those hazely sparklers with long lashes and a whole story to tell behind them.
Look at what my Connor made! He had told me about this penguin a few weeks ago when his class went to the Creative Arts Studio. Never did I imagine something as adorable as this! I’m so pleased with his creation, it makes me beam inside and out. I have such talented kids!
When people think of North Dakota, they think we are burried under snow all year round. We get our fair share but we actually get less than some other areas in the country. But when we get snow, we rarely get to play in it for very long. It’s usually powdery which doesn’t pack well and after it snows it tends to go way below zero which keeps us indoors too. But a good spring storm brings the moisture and the warm sun that makes for hours of outdoor play. It was awesome! Connor made this snowman on his own and he’s so proud!
Connor had his first Shirley Temple drink today. I’m not sure what seemed like mor efun – the cherries, the fizz, or the little sword that the cherries were on. He drank that down in about 5 minutes!
There he is again, Dillan the ham! I can’t get him to take anything serious these days. But he cracks me up so much, even while I’m taking the pictures. onnor iI think Connor is oblivious at this point, though his new DS game is pretty cool too.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! My little monkey leprechauns took advantage of some slightly warmer weather and hit the trampoline to burn some crazy energy!
Another day of swimming lessons. Dillan has to ham it up everytime. I love the processing on the pool pictures – it really draws out the colors and looks so cool. I’m not sure what Connor was up to but his face is silly too.
Today was the Pinewood Derby for Boy Scouts. Connor’s car took 3rd place for Tiger Cubs! He was so proud, and I’m very proud of him!
Guess who got some fun chew tabs at school today? Didn’t you love these as a kid? Connor thought it would be great fun, only when it came time to brushing it away, I think he thought it wasn’t. Wow that stuff looks so gross! He had a fun time though – he even cheezed for the mugshot pose.
The boys started swimming lessons yesterday. Silly Dillan, he was wondering why I didn’t take my camera on the first day! I was trying to hold off for a little bit. I played around with some fun settings for something different.
